Who we are and why we want you to agree

Your optician is offering you the AI Digital stylist to help you discover suitable style choices for your glasses or sunglasses. Part of this solution uses software developed by Style code B.V. (style + code, or sometimes “we” in this statement), located at Philitelaan 57, 5617 AK Eindhoven, The Netherlands. We are registered at the chamber of commerce in the Netherlands under number 95790349.

An essential part of being able to give you great style advice, is to analyse a picture of you using Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision software, and we want you to understand and agree that we do so.

What we do, why we do it and where we do it

Your picture gets sent to a secure cloud environment located in the EEA, United Kingdom, or Switzerland and analysed there by our software. An up to date exact list on which cloud provider it is located can be found on the style + code website. You agree that style + code can do that analysis, and share its results back to you. style + code will only use that picture to give style advice, and will not share that picture with a third party, unless we have a legal obligation to do so. The AI Digital stylist application does not register any identity information.

Cookies

In order to work properly, the browser running in this AI Digital stylist for eyewear uses some “cookies”. This includes a session ID and some performance analytics. Since it is a shared device amongst all visitors, it does not know who you are, and therefore cannot be traced back to you.
